More Info

Mera Peak Climbing take us to the top of Mera Peak (6461m). This is the highest peak in Nepal that lies in between Makalu and Everest region. This can be a first step to practice to summit the Everest. We fly from Kathmandu to Lukla airport to start the Mera peak climbing and continue the trek via Chhutanga-crossing. We organize Peak climbing in Spring and Autumn season to ascend as the weather will be clear to climb and the views will be clear to see the mountains. Five 8,000m peaks are visible from the summit including Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu and Kanchenjunga. Mera Peak climbing is an excellent option for anyone with moderate mountaineering experience. It is a challenging trekking peak due to its elevation. Besides, Himalayan Glacier’s seasoned Sherpa guide will provide us with a basic mountaineering training before the actual summit. The usual route to Mera Peak is directly via the Zatra La Pass, but we follow the route that heads south from Lukla and up the beautiful Hinku Valley and later return via Zatra La pass. Following this route has a few advantages. We not only pass through the beautiful Nepalese wilderness but also through quaint villages which will give us a glimpse into the rich culture of the locals. Additionally, since the route is longer, it’s better for acclimatization. We have organized 19 days itinerary to keep our valuable clients health fit and well to summit on the top of Mera Peak in a good health.

Cost Include / Cost Exclude

Cost Includes:
All land transfer, arrival, and departure as per the itinerary.
Hotel accommodation with bed and breakfast on Twin sharing basis as per the itinerary.
Food during the trek 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) in specified local lodges.
Tea and coffee (cup) three times daily on the trek.
English speaking experienced & professional trekking guide license holder.
Porters (1 porter carries the luggage up to 25 kgs of 2 participants during the trek).
City tours as mentioned in the itinerary with English speaking guide and all land transportation with private car/jeep/van.
All necessary trekking and climbing related permit including TIMS, National Park Entrance fee, and ACAP Fee.
Insurance, proper warm clothing, shoes, sunglass and daily wages for guide and porter.
Cost Excludes:
Lunch and dinner while in Kathmandu or in Pokhara stay.
